Puerto Princesa ramps up vax drive in rural villages

Jabagat/PIA-Palawan) PUERTO PRINCESA, Palawan, (PIA) -- As many as 16,025 individuals have been fully vaccinated or have received the first and second doses of COVID-19 vaccine in the city since the COVID-19 vaccination roll-out began on March 7, 2021. This is according to Puerto Princesa City COVAC data. This number is equivalent to eight percent (8%) of the city's total 201,000 eligible residents who must be vaccinated to achieve 70% herd immunity. The 201,000 individuals are residents aged 18 years old and above and they also make up 63% of the city's total population.
